What does "rented" actually mean?+
You pay a small monthly fee to use a custom site I design, host and look after, instead of paying thousands to buy one up front. You own your domain and all your content: words, photos and logo. I own the design and code while you're a member. After 12 months you can buy the site outright and it's fully yours.
How fast can my site be live?+
Within 14 days of getting your logo, photos and info, or your first month is free. The faster you send your content, the faster you're live.
What counts as a "change"?+
Text, images, prices, a new offer, or a new section on an existing page. A whole new page or a redesign is quoted separately, so you always know the cost first. Unused change time doesn't roll over.
Can I edit the site myself?+
No, and that's the point. I make every change, so it always looks right and nothing breaks. If you want to edit daily, a builder like Squarespace will suit you better, and I'll tell you so on our call.
How do enquiries reach me?+
Your contact form sends every enquiry straight to your email inbox, with spam filtered out. Nothing to log into.
Do I need my own domain and email?+
Yes, and they stay in your name. Already have them? I'll connect your domain. Don't have one yet? I'll walk you through buying it, usually around $10–20 a year, paid straight to the registrar.
I already have a Showit, Squarespace or AI site. Can you replace it?+
Yes. I'll redesign it, move your content across and switch your domain over, so you're never offline. Then you can cancel the old subscription.
Can you sell products or take bookings on the site?+
I'll link to or embed the booking tool you already use, like Calendly, Fresha or Acuity. If you need an online store or payments built in, Shopify or a similar platform will serve you better.
How do I pay?+
By card, through a secure payment link I send after our call. Your first month is paid when you join, then your membership renews automatically each month. You'll get a receipt every time.
What happens if I want to leave?+
After the 12-month minimum, give 30 days' notice, or buy the site and take it with you. Your domain is already yours, so you can point it anywhere. If a payment is missed, you'll get reminders at 7 and 14 days, and the site is only paused after 30 days.
